As much as I respect the work of Jillian Michaels in regards to her motivation and drive, not to mention the amazing weight loss results ‘the Biggest Loser’ has done for and the inspiration it has given people around the world, when a personal trainer grows to a certain point, there becomes a level of control they must give to others. And when corporate america grabs hold of a figurehead, the results are not always pretty.
Jillian Michaels is obviously a great motivator and has helped many with weight loss challenges. But she is not a nutritionist – or a chemist. She is far too busy with media events to be stuck in a lab. So she trusts her people – Her ‘team Jillian’. Unfortunately, it would seem that is coming back to bite her in the behind.

I hope this gets resolved quickly, I really do. I dont like giving people supplements, I much prefer a health through food with a couple of naturally occurring vitamins, minerals and oils thrown in to fill in the gaps. I dont generally like weight loss supplements but I can understand the allure of selling a product that has a huge profit margin and a long term customer lifespan.
I just wish it didn’t have to be happening to one of the highest profile personal trainers out there.
Best of luck Jillian.
Yours in health,
Jamie Atlas

Good point Jamie, our clients don’t need fancy and $$ supplements to lose weight. There is a plethora of crap out there, and you are so right if they eat good whole foods (filling in the gap when needed) they will be fine.
Keep up the good fight mate
